From the Eastern beach resorts of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, you can easily visit the sites of Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, the colonial town of Valladolid and the convent of Izamal. To the southwest, continue on to the sites of Uxmal and Kabah, travelling along the Ruta Puuc (the route of the hills). There you will locate us on the hillside just outside the small quaint Maya village of Santa Elena, between Uxmal and Kabah. If you are arriving from Campeche in the west to Uxmal, you may just be ready for a bite to eat.

Our restaurant and B&B is an ideal place to stop for lunch or stay a night or two. From here, you can enjoy trips to Uxmal, Kabah, Labnah, Sayil, the Lol Tun caves and the newly opened Chocolate Museum.

If you wish to stay overnight, we now have quaint Maya-style accommodations where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of our countryside, but you can still stay connected with our Wifi (free to B&B clients). You can enjoy your evening meal watching the sunset and marvel at the clear night sky and the rising of the moon. It is a place to share, compare and recommend your experiences to other visitors from all over the world. If you want to calm yourself after a day of hiking the ruins, then a dip in the pool or a walk around the labyrinth will re-energize your soul.

Along the Ruta Puuc, there are no places to eat and so we can offer picnic lunches for you to take on your way. It is preferable to order the night before so that we can freeze the bottled water included with your picnic, to help keep your food nice and cool.

To feel really relaxed and at one with the universe, we suggest the services of a local Mayan lady who can provide you with a nice relaxing massage. Or why not enjoy a Reiki treatment from Valerie (certified therapist and master teacher)(by appointment)? For added convenience we also have a complimentary internet connection and a laundry service (for hotel patrons only).
